Never Have I Ever, posted on their official twitter page that season two is coming soon. Who is excited? We’re super excited as they left us with a cliff hanger.
Little do you know we were going 0mph during the car/kiss scene. I guess that means when Devi and Paxton kissed, it went from 0 – 100 real quick😏….Whatever, I bet Drake thinks it’s funny.
“Never Have I Ever” star Darren Barnet spoke to Insider about his favorite scene from season one of the Netflix series, “humanizing” Paxton Hall-Yoshida, and forging his own path.
“I expected the show to do well and I knew we made something good, but the amount of love and admiration from fans has been insane,” Barnet told us. “I knew it would do well, but I didn’t know it would do this well, and that’s maybe a tribute to quarantine, with everyone being able to sit on the couch and actually watch it for what it’s worth and realize that it’s not just a comedy. It also touches on very real-life topics.”
“NHIE” was cocreated by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, inspired by Kaling’s own childhood. The show centers on Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan), a first-generation Indian American who begins her sophomore year at Sherman Oaks High School with a mission to ditch her uncool reputation and become popular.

“Never Have I Ever” stars Jaren Lewison and Darren Barnet weighed in on the Netflix show’s love triangle.
Lewison, who stars as Ben Gross, and Barnet, who plays Paxton-Hall Yoshida spoke to Insider during separate interviews and broke down who they think is a better match for protagonist Devi Vishwakumar (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan).
“NHIE,” which was co-created by Lang Fisher and Mindy Kaling, begins at the start of Devi’s sophomore year at Sherman Oaks High School in California as she tries to rebrand as a cool person at school.
Part of her plan to become popular involves losing her virginity to Paxton, an attractive member of the school’s swim team who has three fan accounts on Tumblr. They don’t actually have sex, but she leads her best friends to believe that they did and the lie spirals out of control.
She’s also constantly trying to one-up Ben, her academic rival and nemesis, in history class and extracurricular activities.
Gradually, a love triangle involving Devi, Ben, and Paxton forms.
“Never Have I Ever” star Darren Barnet has landed a guest star role on the Season 7 premiere of ABC’s “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” Variety has learned exclusively.
In the show’s final season opener, titled “The New Deal,” Coulson (Clark Gregg) and the agents are thrust back in time to 1931 New York City, where they encounter Barnet’s character. It’s unclear how many episodes Barnet will be featured in the role, although his character could have a lasting impact on the “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” universe.
Fan favorite Patton Oswalt also returns to the series in an unspecified new role; in past seasons, Oswalt has portrayed iterations of the Koenig siblings, a family with close ties to S.H.I.E.L.D.
Barnet is most recently known for his portrayal of teen heartthrob Paxton Hall-Yoshida on Netflix’s comedy series, co-created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher.
In July, Variety reported that the long-running ABC show’s seventh season would be its last. “Next summer’s Season 7 will be the last for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D,” the show’s official Twitter account announced. “Thanks to our fans for allowing us to be the longest-running Marvel TV series to-date.”
“The New Deal” was written by George Kitson and directed by Kevin Tancharoen. The show was co-created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, and Maurissa Tancharoen, who also serve as executive producers along with Jeffrey Bell, Jeph Loeb, and Jim Chory. The series is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television.
“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 7 premieres May 27 at 10 p.m.
Barnet is represented by Buchwald and Endorsement Management Group.

The hilarious cast of Netflix’s “Never Have I Ever” played my game “The Truth Comes Out.” It seems they know each other… maybe a little too well.
